Application
The plastic hood
...is suitable for cable diameters up to 5mm. The cable hole has a size of approx. Ø 4.9mm, whereby the plastic material is minimally flexible. The hole can be widened slightly (Ø 6mm) by applying heat (e.g. hot air dryer).
The maximum cable length for USB 2.0
... is 5m. For high-speed or high-powered USB applications, however, 5m can already be problematic despite the use of good cable material. This applies both to data technology and to the power supply of the end device. We recommend a maximum distance of 3m for data or power-intensive USB 2.0 applications.
