The monitor adapter offered here makes it possible to connect very old Apple monitors (with the two-row Apple DSub-15 connector) to more current HD DSub-15 ports (three-row, VGA). This allows old analogue monitors to continue to be used on 'newer' Macintosh computers or PC systems. The adapter can be screwed to the PC and also the monitor cable to the adapter, therefore you have a reliable connection.
